Cancer in love
Cancer is a sign that’s very comfortable with its emotions, and is perhaps ideally suited for the demands and rigours of a close relationship. The Crabs are responsive to their partners’ needs, and they’re able to show incredible loyalty. They understand the importance of good, old-fashioned romance - so things like candlelit dinners, red roses and St. Valentine’s Day are going to play a central role in their courting behaviour. By the same token, Cancerians will remember birthdays and anniversaries, and they’ll expect their partner to do the same. This means that people getting involved with a Cancerian have to be aware of their responsibilities. It’s nothing casual, and as the fly runs into the spider’s web so the Crab’s partner gets cocooned in an emotional straitjacket.
Bear in mind also that, if things go wrong, the Cancerian can be unforgiving and even vengeful. King Henry VIII of England was a Cancerian, and he had two of his six wives beheaded. As far as sex is concerned, Cancerians see it as being all part of a healthy relationship, rather than as being a separate activity. Yet the Crabs can be very moody, and if their partner is looking for passion they must be caught at exactly the right moment.
