Cancer - money and career
The first thing Cancerians want from their career is security. They want to know that they’re going to get paid every month, that they won’t get sacked, that they’re building up a decent pension. And in many cases it’s enough for these security needs to be satisfied - even if their job’s completely boring. But there are other things to consider. The Crabs, being sensitive creatures, need to work in the right environment. People are important, and the chemistry has to be right. Ideally there’ll be an atmosphere of close cooperation, that works on an emotional as well as a material level. And if everyone can feel themselves to be part of one, big happy family, so much the better. The Cancerian will then feel great loyalty to their co-workers, and will go out of their way to look after them.
Looking at suitable careers, some Cancerians can do very well in the caring professions, for example as a doctor, nurse or therapist. Other Cancerians will have a natural affinity with real estate and mining. And despite their natural caution - or perhaps because of it - the Crabs can be very good at running their own businesses. They understand the risks, but they also understand the market they’re working in.
Money is usually something that Cancerians don’t have a problem with. They’re good savers, and they know the importance of sticking to a budget. However, some Cancerians can get over-emotional about particular aspects of their life that aren’t going to plan. It’s usually under these circumstances that they’re in danger of going into the red.
