Capricorn’s personality
Capricorns are easy to underestimate. They can appear slow and cautious, the kind of people that won’t be any trouble to anyone. And this ties in with Capricorn’s symbol, the Goat. This creature doesn’t make a fuss, it just moves itself up the mountain, at its own careful pace. No short-cuts, no dangerous manoeuvres, but soon enough it reaches the lofty peak. And one should remember that most Capricorns have a keen sense of self-preservation. Behind their calm façade they’re working out what needs to be done, and they’ll be doing some precise calculations.
In general they don’t like things that are showy or extravagant, and this tends to be reflected in their wardrobe. They prefer clothes that are down to earth and practical, and they often have a disdain for make-up and unnecessary ornaments. But Capricorns don’t need ornamentation. They have a natural beauty, that ages extremely well. In fact it’s often said that as Capricorns grow older in years they grow younger in spirit - so as they progress into middle and old age they become more relaxed and more at ease with themselves.
As far as their minds are concerned, the Goats tend to be quite focused, and if something matters to them, they’ll know everything there is to know about it. But they’ll regard knowledge for knowledge’s sake as a waste of time.
