Leo’s personality
Leo is arguably the most powerful sign of the Zodiac. Its symbol is the Lion, the king of the beasts, and it has few competitors. Leos tend to have a strong sense of self, and they enjoy being the centre of attention. And not surprisingly, they’re proud of who they are, and they’re probably happiest when they’re being flattered and praised. However, it’s important that Leos don’t let their pride get the better of them. They can so easily become arrogant, believing they’re completely wonderful and refusing to accept any criticism. Yet the Lions’ self-belief has advantages - their confidence allows them to achieve an enormous amount, and they can also persuade people that they’re worth trusting.
When things are going well the Lions are easy-going people, who can show kindness and generosity to their family, friends and colleagues. One gets the image of a big cat, stretched out in front of the fire, enjoying the warmth and radiating good vibes. But when they want to be Leos can be very dramatic. They like making big entrances, and their choice of clothes and style can be striking, even theatrical.
Finally, it should be noted that a few Leos appear to be untypical of their sign, being shy and rather meek. This is because their pride has been knocked, over a long period of time, and they haven’t been given the attention they deserve. Such Leos need to reconnect with their fundamental being, and slowly, slowly rebuild their confidence. And then, like the Lion in The Wizard of Oz, they’ll get their courage back and they’ll be able to take their rightful place on centre stage.
