Libra’s personality
Librans live in a world that’s full of people, and whatever they do, they give consideration to the social dimension. They understand that their actions will affect their family, friends and colleagues, and as a result they’ll modify their words and behaviour. It therefore makes sense that the symbol for Libra is a set of scales, with its connotations of balance. Balance is indeed important for Librans, and they’ll want to create harmony between themselves and the rest of the world. This means that most Librans will go out of their way to avoid an argument - saying nice things, refusing to express strong opinions.
At the same time, they can be indecisive. They’ll sit on the fence, not wanting to do anything to rock the boat. Yet it’s dangerous to make generalisations about this sign, and some Librans expect the world to fit in with their ideas, rather than the other way round.
Examples of strong Librans, who are able to exercise an iron control over their environment, include Margaret Thatcher and Vladimir Putin. In most cases Librans don’t like things that are crude, and they have strong opinions about what’s beautiful and what’s ugly. Librans tend to be disturbed by raw nature, and they seek comfort in a human-made world.
