Scorpio - money and career
Scorpios don’t like pretending. If they’re not suitable for a job, or they’re not happy doing it, then they won’t want to pursue the fiction longer than they have to. To take things a step further, Scorpios can only be really successful in their careers if they’re doing something that they’re passionate about. It’s a passion that can be about anything - computers, art, cleaning streets, space travel. Nonetheless some careers are more suitable than others.
Scorpios enjoys probing under the surface, and they therefore make excellent psychologists, investigators and detectives. At the same time, they’re good strategists, and some of the best Second World War generals were Scorpios - for example Rommel, Montgomery and Patton. Tomoyuki Yamashita, the Japanese commander who defeated the British in Malaya and Singapore, was also a Scorpio. Such Scorpios can use their emotions to tune into the military situation, so as to understand the best approach. And perhaps at some level they can read the enemy’s mind. Strategy is useful in business as well as politics, and Scorpio businesspeople have every chance of outwitting their competitors.
Looking at money, Scorpios can be very possessive. If they believe that a sum of money is owed to them they’ll go out of their way to get hold of it. Not just because the money itself is important, but also because it’s a matter of principle. And usually Scorpios will be effective negotiators - if they’re buying or selling they’ll have a good idea what the other person’s bottom line is. Put another way, telepathy can be profitable!
